Who are you, and what do you do?
I'm Victoria, an indie designer/dev working on projects like Neocities. I spend a lot of time thinking happily about ethics and unhappily about gender, both of which caused me to write this remix of this essay. I love making digital art.
What hardware do you use?
A MacBook Pro and an old Wacom Graphire tablet. I work from home, but am lucky to have a second desk at The Outpost, a community-focused coworking space here in Portland.
And what software?
TextMate 2, rickety copies of Fireworks and Photoshop CS3, Chrome dev tools.
Also, Terminal, GitX, Backblaze, Google Docs, Hibari for Twitter, Illustrator, Day One, Slack.
What would be your dream setup?
With the ridiculous back and wrist issues I've been having, I've been fantasizing about plugging my brain into a computer to work fully in the digital realm. More seriously, I'd be really excited about bringing my current setup with me to live/work for months at a time in other countries.
